Are additional apps required for my Shopify store?

Who are we?

  1. We are TravelBoxGlobal. We own and operate this website/app. Please contact us if you have any questions or feedback about this Privacy Statement: contact@travelbox.global.

What's the point of this Privacy Statement?

  1. This Privacy Statement tells you how we deal with your "personal data" (i.e. technical term for information about any identified or identifiable living person). Please read on to find out what kinds of personal data we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it for and how you can access and rectify it.
  2. Please do not use our website or apps unless you are completely happy with this Privacy Statement.

Might the Privacy Statement change?

  1. It may well do. Whenever we have updated our Privacy Statement, we will alert you via email. Please take that opportunity to re-read it. We will assume you agree to the revised Privacy Statement if you use the website or apps after the effective date shown at the top of the Privacy Statement.

What personal or other data do we collect?

  1. We collect and store the information which you give us via forms on our website or apps - such as your name, address, email address, phone number("contact data") - or when communicating with us by email, or in some other way.
  2. We also collect and store certain information such as your IP address ("customer behaviour data") to improve your shopping experience by suggesting suitable products for you, based on previous purchases, or recipes looked at.
  3. We collect your bank account and payment card details (payment information) in order to process payments and refunds.
  4. We collect survey data (such as biannual survey, NPS, etc.) which can include age (bracket not birthday), gender, in order to understand how we are serving different types of customers and what we need to do to improve their experience.
  5. We also collect, use and share pixel/cookies data (including but not limited to HTTP headers, pixel-specific data, button click data, optional values and form field names) and, if already provided to us, contact data, in order to communicate with existing customers and prospective customers who have visited our website or apps but not yet signed up. See below the Privacy Statement for our Cookies Policy.
  6. We also collect the following categories of data:
  7. "transaction data" which may include your payment information and other details of products you have purchased from our website or apps;
  8. "usage data" which may include information about how you use our website or apps, and products; and
  9. "marketing and communications data" which may include your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
  10. Under GDPR, we will use the lawful basis of "contractual", where we use contact and payment data to fulfil orders. When we use contact, survey, or customer behaviour data for marketing reasons, the lawful basis will be "consent", or "legitimate interest". If you would like further information, please contact us using the details within this Privacy Statement.

How do we use your personal data?

  1. We use "contact data" to provide our services: e.g. send service messages or direct mail, communicate to you about your account/orders and to fulfil orders.
  2. We may, as part of your TravelBox delivery (this being the primary purpose of processing your data under these circumstances), include gifts, free samples and other promotional material that we think may be of interest to you.
  3. If you have given permission, we may, solely for marketing purposes, use your " contact data " to send you marketing emails, mails, calls or SMS with details of our, or third party goods or services which may be of interest to you, including information about special offers or promotions.
  4. We use " payment information " to process payments and refunds.
  5. We may use your IP address and other customer behaviour data to recognise you when you visit, or return to our website or apps. This allows us to track anonymised traffic and usage patterns, prevent or detect fraud and help us improve our service. We may use cookies to do this. See below the Privacy Statement for our Cookies Policy.
  6. If you supply us with a friend's email address for the "Refer A Friend" programme, we will use that email address only to send a special offer to your friend. We will provide your name in the offer email to your friend, so that they know where we got their contact details from.
  7. We may use information we collect on you to recommend recipes to you and to improve our service for you and other customers.
  8. We will only retain your personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary in the circumstances and delete or anonymise personal data as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies and legal retention periods do not preclude deletion. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the following factors:
  9. the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data;
  10. the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data;
  11. the purposes for which we process your personal data; and
